Bastards from Rapidshare...

I am sorry for those of you who have to read this, but thing got worse for me and my blog recent days

It is not only because I am abroad now and can't upload movies more frequently, but also these bastards from Rapidshare started playing on my nerves... They delete 2 or 3 of movie files, and after that I have to delete remaining files and start re-uploading the whole movie...

It is not the first time I encounter this problem, but recently it is a very common by their site, maybe they think some will not waste their time to re-upload the movie again, but they are wrong!!

I will keep doing my work, and never stop!!

But please help me if you could and please report dead links using comments form, it keeps me going and saves my time

There are some deleted files at the moment and they have to wait to be re-uploaded but I will do my best to keep the site going, just be patient, or if you want the movie now, just look in other places

That's all for now, folks :) :)

Maybe you should make back-ups of these parts... I don't know what upload rate you have, but mine is so lame (256 Kb) that I need hours to upload the whole thing again... Back-ups saved me.

Keep up the good work, we are on your side!

Hi!

It's not rapidshare's fault I guess. As soon as only one file got reported to them they immediately delete it since they don't want to risk any charge against them. So it's really very easy to make an upload worthless since one only needs to report one link.

Yep, I thought of making back-ups, if only one file is deleted, one would be re-uploaded, it is a little strange, they dont delete all 8 parts (that happened before and I understand it may be done that way) but why the hell delete 2 files and leave other online. They just think I would not take my time to re-upload as there might be no back-ups, but now I know what to do, every file uploaded here backed-up on a DVD

Thanks for your support :):)

Do not make the file names the same as the movie name, sometimes that helps.

Thanks for all your hard work, please keep it up it is most appreciated.
I agree with what was said previously use file names that are meaningless. Having the filename of a film makes it easy for the [censored]to complain.

Go to megaupload

avoid using the exact movie's title as a file name. Usually they use a crawler with the list to search for the movies.
you have a great collection of oldies.

Hello,
Thank you for all the hard work!
Like someone has already suggested before, please do use cryptic file names that don't indicate much about the contents. Its harder to get deleted that way. God bless you.

Thank you so much for your website, we love movie classics as these.

I have had a problem with some older posts, which were one's I was really looking forward to watching (wouldn't you just know it!). 2942 Sabatuer, Notorious 1946, 1955 To Catch a Theif, and 1936 Sabotage. All four of these do not have the RAR extention and do not relate to anyother file type. Are they still useable?
Thank you again! Keep up the great work!

All files with extension .001, .002 etc. can be re-joined using free software HJ Split, or by using Total Commander (File=>Merge Files) and changing extension of merged file to .avi
