Some request issues...

Hi folks... :)

Some of you, my dear readers, put some movie request in comments. As far as I know, most of them are hard to find, sometimes not so popular as these that I put on page, as the priority goes to all these best-known classics from 1930-1960, with highest IMDB ratings

It is not that I don't wanna upload them, but my upload is not so fast, and my queue is full of movies to go on

So please, don't shout on me :) and one more thing: I will be posting links to some of your request that I can find online, and that I don't intend to put on my site in near future, so stay tuned

Have to agree with Shontou,
you do an amazing job here and this is the only blog I consistantly return to. Personally I am thankful for every film you post.

Very much appreciated,

Sorry, bu why don't you try to find Dr Zhivago (but in only one CD).
It will be wonderful.
Many thanks

I agree with shontou and olywa. This is a great service. As for Dr. Zhivago, one set of files for it would be:

Absolutely understandable.

I managed to find Dr Mabuse's Testament, maybe I should up it to RS and send the links if you do a post about it?

High IMDB rating usually means that film is already present on torrents or Rapidshare forums. We look at you, brave blogger, to provide the hidden treasures...

For Gryzor....
I promise you I post the film (The testament of Dr. Mabuse)and I will do it with any cost. Just stand by and have pacience. As the Administrator of this blog said...
"It is not that I don't wanna upload them, but my upload is not so fast, and my queue is full of movies to go on."

This is for all who make the requests.
With patience will have all of you the requested movies. In 2 days I collect a list with 10 movies, most of them hard to find, as the administrator of this blog said.

Wait for you on

Can't think about movies without visiting your blog first. Extraordinary uploads, thnaks for reviving the film noir genre among others... Any chance I could find "The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse" here by Vincente Minnelli or "The Trial" by Orson Welles... How about "The Arrangement" by Elia Kazan or "Two Weeks in Another Town" by Vincente Minneli again? Any of those would make my year... Thanks and cheers again for providing the subtitles, french ones always appreciated !

fshurrat … many thanks for your links, I downloaded them and descompressed, etc; but the final result is the same as in other parts … 2 CDs.
That's why in my previous post, I asked for just only one CD.
Anyway … many thanks for your help.

This blog is a rare gem! And I'm looking for another jewel of a film that I can't seem to find anywhere. I'm asking here because I'm not quite sure how to send a request. If this is not the right place to put a request, would someone be so kind as to move it? Thanks!

I'm looking for a 1954 black and white Japanese film by the director Keisuke Kinoshita. The English language title is "Twenty-Four Eyes" (and no, it's neither a "slasher/horror" film, nor a Godzilla take-off ;-), the Japanese title is "Nijushi no hitomi".

The imdb link is

According to imdb, the plot is: "Schoolteacher Hisako Oishi struggles to imbue her students with a positive view of the world and their place in it." but it's a lot more than that. From a review I saw on another site:
""This naturalistic, tremendously moving drama from Keisuke Kinoshita could very well be the ultimate “inspirational teacher” movie. Set in an isolated, sparsely populated village on the ruggedly beautiful coast of Japan’s Shodoshima island, the story begins in 1928 and ends just after WW 2. This is a deceptively simple yet deeply resonant tale about a long term mentorship that develops between a compassionate, nurturing teacher (Hideko Takamine) and her 12 students, from grade school through adulthood."

Sounds like a great film, and I'd love to find it.

Thank you for an excellent blog.
I wonder if you could possibly make an addition of Paul Newman's The Drowning Pool ? The dvd is unavailable in Japan and I would love to rewatch it.

Love this site. Thank you very much for all your hard work finding these movies. I do have a request if possible:

Raintree County - 1957
Passionate romance with Susanna Drake, a rich beauty of southern New Orleans. Marries her, discovers that the mother of Susanna died in a nursing home for sick. Mental and that perhaps she has inherited the family curse.
Montgomery Clift - Elizabeth Taylor - Eva Marie Saint - Nigel Patrick

i could only find a spanish version of this []. Wondering if there was an english one out there.

As you can imagine, you're making my day, sorry, my night right now... I haven't seen it for years and I surely be very very happy to watch Welles magic back again.

Is there a way to search your blog? I don't seem to find the search button and I'm pretty sure you have "the Rose Tattoo" hidden here somewhere.

Keep on posting!
