It ain't hay (1943) - King O'Hara uses his horse-drawn, handsome Hansom Cab to drive the guys and dolls of Broadway around and about Central Park, and all is well and good until O'Hara's ailing horse comes up more than a little bit ill and, in fact, ups and dies after King's friend, taxicab driver Wilbur Hoolihan, inadvertently but effectively by administering candy to the ailing animal. Some of the guys and dolls are more than somewhat upset, especially those citizens, who carry rods and get a lot of pointed questions from police officers, and who aren't among those most admired as upright citizens. So, Wilbur sets out to acquire a new horse to pull King's Hansom Cab through Central Park. Wilbur rescues a lost horse and gives it to King. But the new horse, unknown to all, is a famous race-hose named Tea Biscuit, and it is soon noticed that the horse has a lot more spirit and giddy-up than the horse he replaced. And it is not long before Tea Biscuit is entered in a famous horse-race in Saratoga - and complications arise.

Hit the ice (1943) - Flash Fulton and Weejie McCoy take pictures of a bank robbery. Lured to the mountain resort hideout of the robbers and accompanied by Dr. Bill Elliott and Peggy Osborn, they also meet old friend Johnny Long and his band and singer Marcia Manning. Dr. Elliott and Peggy are being held in a remote cabin by the robbers, but Weejie rescues them by turning himself into a human snowball that becomes an avalanche that engulfs the crooks.

Description: Pardon my sarong (1942) - A pair of bus drivers accidentally steal their own bus. With the company issuing a warrant for their arrest, they tag along with a playboy on a boat trip that finds them on a tropical island, where a jewel thief has sinister plans for them.

Who done it? (1942) - Two dumb soda jerks dream of writing radio mysteries. When they try to pitch an idea at a radio station, they end up in the middle of a real murder after the station owner is killed during a broadcast.

Hold that ghost (1941) - Two peanut vendors at a traveling rodeo show get in trouble with their boss and hide out on a railroad train heading west. They get jobs as cowboys on a dude ranch, despite the fact that both know nothing about cowboys, horses, or much of anything.

In the navy (1941) - Famous radio crooner Russ Raymond is tired of it all and enlists in the Navy under his real name, Tommy Halstead, and boards an airplane for San Diego. There he is tentatively identified as the missing singer by Dorothy Roberts, newspaper camerawoman. To get past the sentries, Dorothy escorts the Andrews Sisters, booked for an appearance at the San Diego Naval Training Station, and takes up Raymond's trail. She runs into Smokey Adams, an electrician's mate, Pomeroy Watson, a pastry cook, and "Dynamite" Dugan, a hard-boiled chief petty officer. Dorothy learns that Raymond has been assigned to the U.S.S. Alabama, and she boards the ship on visitor's day and stows away in a locker with the intention of taking a photograph of him. Smokey and Pomeroy find her after the ship has sailed for Honolulu.

Hold that ghost (1941) - Two bumbling service station attendants are left as the sole beneficiaries in a gangster's will. Their trip to claim their fortune is sidetracked when they are stranded in a haunted house along with several other strangers.

Description: Abbott and Costello were a legendary American comedy duo, popular in the 1940s and 1950s, famous for their rapid-fire banter and physical comedy, particularly their iconic "Who's on First?" routine. The team was composed of Bud Abbott (the straight man) and Lou Costello (the bumbling comic). Bud Abbott (1897-1974) and Lou Costello (1906-1959) first worked together in 1935 in burlesque theater and officially teamed up in 1936. Their national break came in 1938 on The Kate Smith Hour radio show. They were signed by Universal Studios in 1940 and became massive movie stars with their first leading film, the army comedy Buck Privates (1941). They made 36 films together, becoming the highest-paid entertainers in the world during World War II. Their films often featured musical interludes by acts like The Andrews Sisters. The duo transitioned to television in the 1950s, hosting The Colgate Comedy Hour and starring in their own syndicated The Abbott and Costello Show (1952-1954). However, their popularity waned due to overexposure and personal tensions, and they formally dissolved their partnership in 1957.

"Who's on First?" is their signature, most famous routine, considered the best comedy sketch of the 20th century by Time magazine. The sketch revolves around a baseball team whose players have nicknames that can be interpreted as non-responsive answers to questions (e.g., the first baseman's name is "Who", the second baseman's is "What", and the third baseman's is "I Don't Know"). The rapid-fire wordplay and mutual misunderstanding perfectly showcase the duo's impeccable timing and comedic dynamic. A gold record of the routine is on permanent display at the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum.

One night in the tropics (1940) - Jim "Lucky" Moore, an insurance salesman, comes up with a novel policy for his friend Steve: a 'love insurance policy', that will pay out $1 million if Steve does not marry his fiancée, Cynthia. The upcoming marriage is jeopardized by Steve's ex-girlfriend Mickey, and Cynthia's disapproving Aunt Kitty. The policy is underwritten by a nightclub owner, Roscoe, who sends two enforcers - Abbott and Costello - to ensure that the wedding occurs as planned. Everyone involved in the situation winds up sailing or flying to San Marcos (a fictional South American country), where more complications arise. Would Roscoe have to pay out??

Buck privates (1941) - Bud and Lou enlist in the army in order to escape being hauled off to jail, and soon find themselves in basic training. To their dismay, the company's drill instructor is none other than the cop who was all set to run them off to the hoosegow in the first place! The boys end up having a whale of a time getting under the skin of their humourless nemesis.
