Description: During the American Civil War, the Union cavalry at Fort Bravo have to put up with two threats: the Confederate prisoners incarcerated at the Fort and rampaging Mescalero Indians. Captain Roper takes a no nonsense approach to dealing with both groups, to the dismay of his subordinate, Lt. Beecher. He develops a new interest however when the lovely Carla Forester arrives at the post. Unbeknown to anyone, she is there to arrange the escape of Capt. John Marsh, the senior Confederate officer. When she succeeds, it is left to Roper to track them down.

Description: Sixty-one year old widower Will Varner, in ill health, owns many businesses and properties in Frenchman's Bend, Mississippi, including a plantation. To him, his children are a disappointment, who he sees as not being able to carry on the Varner name in the style to which he has built around it. Son Jody has no ambition and does not work, spending much of his time fooling around with his seductive wife, Eula. He finds twenty-three-year-old daughter Clara clever, but he feels she also wastes her time on more contemplative pursuits. While most of her contemporaries are married, Clara has been dating Alan Stewart, a genteel mama's boy, for six years. Will would not mind Alan so much if he too thought Alan had a bit of a forceful man in him, which he could demonstrate by actually asking Clara to marry him. Conversely, Jody laments that nothing he does is ever good enough for his father, while Clara plain does not like the way he treats them. Into their lives comes Ben Quick, who Jody hired while Will was hospitalized, to do some sharecropping on currently vacant land. Despite Will believing the unsubstantiated stories that Ben burned down someone's barn as an act of vengeance, Will becomes to view Ben as the son he never had, as he is much the same mold. As such, Will does whatever he can to get Ben to be part of the family to carry on the Varner name the way Will wants it be, which means marrying Clara. Through the process, Clara may come to a realization about what she really wants in life, while Jody does whatever he can to retain his position in the family...

Description: In 1924 Chicago, Artie Strauss and Judd Steiner are friends and fellow law students who both come from wealthy backgrounds. They have few true friends as they believe all their contemporaries are intellectually inferior. Within their relationship, Artie is the dominant and Judd the submissive who says he will do whatever Artie tells him. Although Judd acts intellectually arrogant to others, he also shows signs of weakness and reticence most evident to Artie. Part of their goal in life is to experience how it feels to do everything. As such, they plot to commit what they consider the perfect crime - a kidnapping and murder - not only so that they can experience the sense of killing for killing's sake, but also taunt the law with the knowledge of it and their superiority after the fact. They believe their crime is above the law. Their murder of young Paulie Kessler is not so perfect, with evidence at the scene uncovered by one of their law school colleagues, Sid Brooks, who also works for the Globe newspaper. As Artie and Judd try to manipulate their way out of how the evidence may implicate them, their manipulation ultimately backfires and they are charged with the murder. The most famed trial lawyer in town, Jonathan Wilk, is hired to defend the pair despite his atheism being against the families' sensibilities. Jonathan, renowned for his ability to manipulate juries, has to decide how best to defend his clients in the overwhelming face of evidence against them. The testimony of Ruth Evans, Sid's girlfriend, may have some impact on the trial's outcome.

Description: An expedition is sent from Earth to Altair in the constellation of Aquilae (some 17 light years from Earth) to discover what happened to a colony of settlers on its fourth planet, Altair-4. They find that Dr. Edward Morbius and his beautiful daughter Altaira are the only survivors from the original expedition that had arrived some 20 years before. Morbius isn't exactly pleased to see them and would have preferred that they not even land their spaceship. He does his best to get them on their way but Commander Abrams and his men soon face an invisible force leading them to believe that Morbius and the girl are in danger. Morbius claims to know nothing of other life on the planet but does reveal there once existed a far superior race, now extinct, that left a huge subterranean industrial and scientific complex.

* Deleted scenes - Presents footage from a "workprint" used by the film's composers, editors and effects artists during post-production. Some of these moments were deleted from the film entirely, while other footage gives us scenes in their rough state before the addition of special-effects and sound. The chief points of interest are the alternate opening narration, the spaceship landing, a wholly cut sequence of Robby speeding Adams and his men across the desert in the "atomic car" toward their first encounter with Morbius and the dialogue concerning Altaira`s "maiden purity".

* Lost footage - Features test footage of special-effects sequences, such as planets and starfields, "DC Stations", the C-57D model over Altair 4, alternate takes of the spaceship landing and the Monster`s "footprints", matte paintings of the Krell Machine and footage incorporated into the Monster blaster battle.

* Excerpt from MGM Parade S01E27 & S01E28 (1956) - Walter Pidgeon addresses us in MGM Parade. While hosting a TV adaptation of "Captains Courageous", he breaks to promote his new MGM feature, Forbidden Planet. Robby joins him in one of them, and the spot gives Robby a weird malevolent twist that must have come from some PR hack`s idea of what a giant robot was supposed to act like.

* The Thin Man S01E23 - "Robot Client" (28.02.1958) - Robby, with various modifications, made appearances on TV shows for years afterward, most famously on The Twilight Zone. Here we find him framed for murder in "Robot Client", a 1958 episode of "The Thin Man" TV series starring Peter Lawford and Phyllis Kirk as Nick and Nora Charles.

Description: At the height of the cold war, a weakened President and a popular four-star general face off in a battle for control of the US government. President Jordan Lyman has successfully negotiated an arms reduction treaty with the Soviet Union, but his measure is unpopular and does not sit well with General James Mattoon Scott, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff who has been quite vocal in his opposition. Marine Corps Col. Jiggs Casey, who works for Scott, comes to the conclusion that senior military officers are plotting a coup to overthrow the government.
