Going back to direct links?

Well, it may look like I can't stick to one decision for a long time, but because of many, many complaints about DLC files, I may reconsider going back to direct RS links, no matter if someone reports them or not

Disadvantage of that might be the fact that id reported, some stuff might be re-uploaded in a long time, or even not re-uploaded at all

If I got many comments on that matter, we will see what can be done...

EDIT: People using jDownloader would be able to use it as before, to be 100 % clear

Good grief! Didn't you read my comment in the other section? I discovered you can open .dlc files effortlessly with CryptLoad. I had stopped coming here because the JDownloader seemed like such a hassle, but I was so desperate to get The Gay Divorcee that I clicked on its .dlc file and Cryptload asked if I wanted to open it, I clicked yes, and the download just started; it was that easy. Frankly, I would prefer just plain Rapidshare links, but if you're going to have assholes report you, then stick with the .dlc files. In any case, since you didn't see it, here are my comments before:

IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ!

I used to come here often because you have such great taste in old films. But to be honest, the JDownloader was just too much for me. Today, I saw you had The Gay Divorcee, and I clicked on the .dlc file. It automatically opened for me and started downloading, and I did absolutely nothing special -- none of the JDownloader complications.

The source of this miracle: Cryptload. http://www.cryptload.info/

I had done nothing special to configure Cryptload (only exception being, of course, that since I have a Rapidshare premium account, you have to go into Settings, Plugins, Hoster, and enter your Rapidshare account ID and password; you only do this once as Cryptload stores the ID and password). When I clicked on your .dlc file, a popup said "What do you want to do with this file" and "Open with Cryptload" was already checked. It downloaded seemlessly and perfectly.

Hope this helps you for those people, like myself, who -- for whatever reason -- didn't want to get involved with JDownloader.

Thanks for all your great contributions.

Please stick with dlc files

I don't see why you should be taking the burden of reuploading the movies, that get erased from RS, only because somebody is too lazy to learn how to use JDownloader.
It took me 15 minutes to figure, and believe me, I'm not a computer wizard.

I vote for dlc.

The dlc files worked just fine for me. You shouldn't have the trouble of reuploading the erased files. Post new things!

Keep up the good work! And, btw, we love ya! ;)

No offense to the many users that seem to have a problem with JD, but it took me all of 10 minutes to set it up and start downloading, and I haven't looked back since!
I support YOUR decision, be it regular RS links, or .dlc - Either is fine with me.
Thank You for all your time and efforts :)

what is a DLC file ? As to jdownloader, I installed it on my PC and it worked immediately. It is perfect, the best downloader I ever had.
