Movies posting FEVER

I assume you remember some weeks ago, when I was posting new movie, day by day, four movies one after another...

That was "nasty" :D but I think we should do that again, dont you think?

Beginning with Saturday, I will be posting new movie each day, up to next Sunday included

What can you expect?? Well..

1. Romance is in the air and then... suddenly comes a drama,  Elizabeth Taylor in leading female role

2. Family drama placed in the beginning of 20th century

3. Big jump to Italian story of 70s by Fellini

4. Another big jump to Marx Brothers times :)

5. Ingmar Bergman in his best...

6. Day without film noir is a lost day :)

7. Same goes for westerns :) (especially for my visitors from Argentina, more action, more bullets, more James Stewart, sounds sweet, huh?)

8. French movie from 1939, that got banned for several years there

9. Are we still missing Gene Kelly musicals here? Not for so long...

Seems we will have quite international movies in near future, OK, that is all for know preparing them to post takes alot of time, so see you tomorrow in the evening :)

Les quatre cents coups aka The 400 Blows (1959)

Rating 8.1/10
Runtime: 99 min
Language: French
Country: France
Directed by: Francois Truffaut
IMDb Link:

Jean-Pierre Léaud ... Antoine Doinel
Claire Maurier ... Gilberte Doinel, the Mother
Albert Rémy ... Julien Doinel
Guy Decomble ... 'Petite Feuille', the French teacher
Georges Flamant ... Mr. Bigey
Patrick Auffay ... René
Daniel Couturier ... Les enfants

Description: A young Parisian boy, Antoine Doinel, neglected by his derelict parents, skips school, sneaks into movies, runs away from home, steals things, and tries (disastrously) to return them. Like most kids, he gets into more trouble for things he thinks are right than for his actual trespasses. Unlike most kids, he gets whacked with the big stick. He inhabits a Paris of dingy flats, seedy arcades, abandoned factories, and workaday streets, a city that seems big and full of possibilities only to a child's eye.

That movie has three audio track, one is original movie, and the other two are French and English commentary. If you wanna get rid of the commentary and leave only main audio track, please follow the instructions (the same may be used for dual language files, e.g English and Spanish that are quite common on the internet)

1. Download latest version of AVI-Mux GUI from author`s site

2. Open the archive, unpack to destination of your choice, run the program

3. Right click in main window and choose "Add", locate your dual audio movie and click "Open"

4. Double click your movie, the program will list all movie tracks, 1 video and dual or more audio

5. Main, English track is usually with higher bitrate and bigger size (which is listed next to audio track name)

6. Uncheck non-English audio track, leave English track checked and make sure you unchceck "All audio tracks" and "No audio" boxes just above tracks list

7, Click on "Start" button in the bottom area, choose destination of your file, and start re-coding, that should take not more than a minute and your one-track-file is ready to use. If you are not sure which of audio tracks is English, just right click on track`s name and choose "Extract binary", that will save audio file on your hard drive (in .mp3 or .ac3 format depending on your file), after that just open extracted file in your audio player to check the language
