Description: This low-budget, black and white film stars French New Wave icon Jean-Pierre Léaud as Paul, a romantic young idealist and literary lion-wannabe who chases budding pop star, Madeleine (Chantal Goya, a real life Yé-yé girl). Despite markedly different musical tastes and political leanings, the two soon become romantically involved and begin a ménage à quatre with Madeleine’s two roommates, Catherine (Catherine-Isabelle Duport) and Elisabeth (Marlène Jobert). Ostensibly basing his film on two stories by Guy de Maupassant, Godard mixes off-the-cuff reportage and mise en scène to create a strikingly honest portrait of youth and sex, with Godard’s camera probing his young actors in a series of vérité-style interviews about love, love-making, and politics.

Description: A young Parisian boy, Antoine Doinel, neglected by his derelict parents, skips school, sneaks into movies, runs away from home, steals things, and tries (disastrously) to return them. Like most kids, he gets into more trouble for things he thinks are right than for his actual trespasses. Unlike most kids, he gets whacked with the big stick. He inhabits a Paris of dingy flats, seedy arcades, abandoned factories, and workaday streets, a city that seems big and full of possibilities only to a child's eye.

SOME INFO

That movie has three audio track, one is original movie, and the other two are French and English commentary. If you wanna get rid of the commentary and leave only main audio track, please follow the instructions (the same may be used for dual language files, e.g English and Spanish that are quite common on the internet)

Remeber that YOU CAN ALSO USE VLC PLAYER, WHICH CAN PLAY AUDIO TRACKS OF YOUR CHOICE!!

1. Download latest version of AVI-Mux GUI from author`s site

http://www.alexander-noe.com/video/amg/

2. Open the archive, unpack to destination of your choice, run the program

3. Right click in main window and choose "Add", locate your dual audio movie and click "Open"

4. Double click your movie, the program will list all movie tracks, 1 video and dual or more audio

5. Main, English track is usually with higher bitrate and bigger size (which is listed next to audio track name)

6. Uncheck non-English audio track, leave English track checked and make sure you unchceck "All audio tracks" and "No audio" boxes just above tracks list

7, Click on "Start" button in the bottom area, choose destination of your file, and start re-coding, that should take not more than a minute and your one-track-file is ready to use. If you are not sure which of audio tracks is English, just right click on track`s name and choose "Extract binary", that will save audio file on your hard drive (in .mp3 or .ac3 format depending on your file), after that just open extracted file in your audio player to check the language
