Description: Vinnie Holt, a single woman travelling with her toddler niece, becomes stranded at Rawhide, a desert stagecoach way station managed by stationmaster Sam Todd and his assistant Tom Owens. Owens is quickly impressed by Vinnie's independent self-confidence. Rafe Zimmerman, a fugitive murderer from Huntsville Prison disguised as a deputy, and three other ruthless escapees take over the station, intent on robbing the next day's gold shipment. After murdering Sam, Zimmerman knows they must keep Tom alive in order to complete their plans. Owens does not correct Zimmmerman's assumption that Vinnie is his wife, correctly sensing that the misconception might be the key to her survival as well...

Description: Legendary railroad detective Whispering Smith becomes convinced that old friend and company colleague Murray Sinclair has thrown in with disreputable rancher Barney Rebstock and his cold-eyed psychopathic killer Whitey Du Stang to loot the railroad. Description: Peter Bogdanovich's first feature film is a thinly disguised account of ex-Marine Charles Whitman who, after murdering his mother and his wife, armed himself with a number of rifles and handguns and, on a sunny 1966 Texas morning, began a shooting spree that killed 14 people and wounded 32 people. Description: The Fourth of July finds Judge Garth, Steve and Trampas in Casper, Wyoming to pick up a bed for Betsy. The Judge meets a friend wrestling in a title match and Steve becomes infatuated with a girl. Intrigue follows.

Description: Garth recalls his early days as a judge in Medicine Bow in one particularly dangerous murder case. The family of the man convicted tries to intimidate the residents into having Garth overturn the conviction putting him a lonely position.

Episode 18 - Say goodbye to all that

Description: An American black bear named Moses brings to the surface the lack of respect a father has for his son. When the father is paralyzed in a fight with Trampas, he goads the son into fighting a duel with Trampas for revenge. Trampas refuses it, but cannot ignore it.

Episode 19 - The man who couldn't die

Description: Garth trails a woman to San Francisco who he believes is part of a con game involving a railroad deal. Garth kills a man who he believes to be a part of it. However, when no body can be found, he and others start to question his sanity.

Episode 20 - If you have tears

Description: A friend has been framed for the murder of a woman's husband in Montana. The Virginian and Trampas go there to investigate the charge as they believe their friend who says he is innocent even though he is known to them as a womanizer.

Description: The thirteenth hour (1947) - Truck-firm owner Steve Reynolds gets involved in a feud with a rival firm, and shortly thereafter is slugged by a masked assailant who steals the truck he is driving. The assailant runs down a policeman and leaves other clues pointing to Reynolds as the cop killer. With only a glove, with diamonds stuck in the thumb, as a clue, and while evading the police and other characters after him and the diamonds, Reynolds needs to run down the guilty party and clear himself.

The return of the Whistler (1948) - On the eve of his marriage, a young man's fiance disappears. He hires a private detective to help him track her down, but soon finds himself entangled in a web of lies, intrigue and murder revolving around his fiance's dead ex-husband and his wealthy, corrupt family.
