Description: During World War II Stephen Neale is released into society after having spent two years in a mental hospital. Before heading to London, he stops at the village fête where he wins a large cake. It's clear that something valuable was in the cake as it is forcibly taken from him on the train. He's certain that something, perhaps a crime, occurred and begins an investigation. He comes to believe that there is a Nazi spy ring at work but has difficulty getting anyone to believe him.

Description: At the encouragement of her manager, a nightclub performer in New Mexico, Kiki Walker, takes a leashed leopard into the club as a publicity gimmick. Description: Wyatt Earp and his brothers Morgan and Virgil ride into Tombstone and leave brother James in charge of their cattle herd. On their return they find their cattle stolen and James dead. Description: A Stranger (Clint Eastwood) rides into in the dusty mining town of Lago, where the townspeople are living in the shadow of a dark secret. Description: John Books, an aging gunfighter, goes to see a doctor for a second opinion after another doctor told him he has a cancer which is terminal. The doctor confirms what the other said. He says Books has a month, maybe two left. He takes a room in the boarding house and the son of the woman who runs it recognizes him and tells his mother who he is. She doesn't like his kind but when he tells her of his condition, she empathizes. Her son wants him to teach him how to use a gun. Books tries to tell him that killing is not something he wants to live with. Soon, however, he hits upon another plan, one befitting his career and involving more dignity and less suffering.

Description: In Kansas City, Missouri, the criminals Peter Harris, Boyd Kane and Tony Romano are individually hired by a stranger that plots the robbery of an armored car after receiving the money from a bank in the next door of a flower shop. Each one of them wears masks and does not know the identities of the others; therefore they can not recognize each other.
