Hi, my name´s Alejandro. I´m from Uruguay. I´m a big fan of your blog and I have downloaded many pictures. But I have a huge problem, I´dont know how to put the subtitles into the movies. In my country we speak spanish, I can write a little english but I really can´t understand the plot of the movie without the subtitles.
For example: I have downloaded the movie "12 Angry Men" (8 .rar archives) and I also have downloaded the subtitles (in the link that you post - there are 7 languages). Well, ¿what do I have to do next? I´ve extracted all the movie .rar files and now I have the movie in one .avi file, and the movie is perfect but without subtitles. Also I have extracted the subtitles .rar file, and now I have 7 text files each one in a different language. I need to put the Spanish Subtitles to the movie and I really don´t know how. Could you please tell me what do I have to do? Thanks a lot, I´m waiting for your answer. And please forgive my poor english. Bye, Alejandro.

Alejandro, you need to rename the subtitles, they have to have exactly the same name as the movie, then place movie and subtitles in the same folder and your movie player you use should play the subs without problems

...or, if you use VLC player, drag the subtitle file and drop it into the player, right on the image - that's all!

Hey guys,
Thanks a lot for the help!!!
I follow your directions and it works out fine. Great movie!!!
I have another question (and I hope is the last one) ...
My parents love the old, classic movies but I know them and they preffer to wacht it on the TV instead of the computer. How can I copy this movie (that now is on 2 separate extracted .rar files - 1 is the movie in .avi; and 1 is the spanish subtitles in .txt)(they both are on the same folder)to a DVD? Sorry but I´m just a begginner. Thanks again and I hope you can teach me this too.
Bye, Alejandro.

Alejandro, if your player supports avi files, then just open your burning program, add a new task, and simplu burn data disc, just put the movie and subtitles in same folder od without folders just in main disc, and write them, that`s all (remember they must have exactly same name, otherwise subs may not be shown)

"Just Me", you make my day!!!
Thanks a lot for all your help!!!
My parents and I apreciate it.
My DVD player doesn´t support AVI files, but I convert the movie to DVD with the WINAVI video converter and follow your recomendations (to put both files - movie and subs - in the same folder and with the same name)and it works great!!!
Thanks again and I hope I see you around on the blog.
Bye, Alejandro.

Hi, another question. For the movies that don´t have spanish subs, ¿can I download them from WWW.opensubtitles.com? This will work fine? Because I saw that there are more than one subs for each movie that I search; ¿how do I know wich one to choose?, or is the same ...
Well, Bye again and thanks for your work and your answers.
Alejandro.

Sometimes movie I got is in 2 CD, just like that, just download all the links and unrar them and you will get 2 CD movie, that is no different than 1 CD movie

As for Spanish subtitles, if they are available on opensubtitles.org or allsubs.org and they can be synchronized to match the movie, than I will always add them, but sometimes even after synchronizing them, they dont match the movie, then i will not play with them as I dont know Spanish and dont have that much time to search for another

Sometimes there are several subs in given language, but there is no guaranty they will be good for version f movie I got
