Recent filehosting issues and future of this site...

As most of you probably already know it, last week left us witnesses of one of the biggest 1-click filehosters turmoil in their history. Megaupload has been shut down, and two other major players, Filesonic and Fileserve, which unfortunately I have been using for last couple of months, essentially stopped their services, by not allowing sharing the files with anyone but original uploader and closing account due to copyright infrigements.

It lefts site's latest submissions virtually useless, as Filesonic main links are not working, additional Fileserve mirror files neither, with Hotfile links in place. In that situation none of these movies can be fully downloaded and only working sets are either Hotfile or Rapidshare links, where existing and not removed before.

As the situation is tense and future uncertain, for the time being, there will be no new submissions or any links replacements, until the dust settles and more light is shed on the whole situation. If situation gets cleared and filehosters get to the terms, I will make further decisions on future of this project, accordingly to the situation.

For any further info, please visit the site in future, any announcements will be posted here.

Many thanks from me too. Rapidshare is working fine, and Fileserve seems to be available now too. But we probably need to see the dust settle before making firm plans.

Please keep posting somehow. We follow your site and would be stuck without you.

You help many people be entertained with nice films in these cold winter nights.

Thanks for the heads up man, appreciate everything you do!

The Good news is that most of your older entries are still intact with the exception where the download sites were split (part in rapidshare, part in filesonic) with the exception of "The Spiral Staircase" which has no download sites. Users can scroll through the older entries that most use rapidshare which are still available. Fileshare is up but all files are deleted.

Why you don't try torrents instead of those money leecher file upload sites?

And for the movies you uploaded, thanks for your great job!

Hi

I would also like to express my appreciation for this work / project that you've done so far. Kudos and thank you!

Sorry to see the mess that SOPA/PIPA created, and FS, FSc ..MU.

Do try RS links, perhaps Turbobit (I've seen this too, tho it's cr4p for me), also Megashares, oh and Uploaded.to; and so on.
Recently I've seen Bayfiles (from the founders of The Pirate Bay) links also.

Furthermore, there has to be a reason why you haven't used torrents so far.

And finally, another round of thanks, please do post the latest decisions you've reached here and to Twitter also.

As said here in some comments, bittorrent seems to be a good solution.
