Description: An odd group of people find themselves aboard the Ghost, a sealing schooner captained by the hard taskmaster, Wolf Larson. George Leach is the on the run from the police as is Ruth Webster who has escaped from a women's penitentiary. Also aboard is a young writer, Humphrey van Weyden. He and Webster were fished out of the sea and Larson refuses to put them ashore. Larson is a cruel brute who will have his sailors beaten for the smallest infraction. Though van Weyden, Ruth0 and George try to escape Larsen's clutches, they find themselves drawn inexorably back to him as the "Ghost" sails toward disaster.

Description: During World War I, pilots fight and die in what seems to be an endless war. Veterans Courtney and Scott have survived many near misses and shake their head in despair at the arrival of new replacement pilots, some with only a few hours of flying experience. Most don't survive their first sortie and Courtney for one chides their commanding officer, Major Brand, for sending them to their death. When Brand is promoted however, it's Courtney who is put in charge of the squadron and he soon finds himself making the same difficult decisions Brand faced. When Scott's younger brother arrives fresh-faced from flight school, Courtney orders the lad out on patrol over Scott's objections. The young man's death drives a wedge between them. When Scott volunteers for what will inevitably be a suicide mission, Courtney decides to take on the mission himself...

Description: The film starts with a drunk being knocked out and thrown into the river. A woman is discovered dead in her bathtub by her maid. It's determined chloroform was involved in her death. Enter Lt. Muldoon, whose precinct gets involved in the investigation. Muldoon and his right hand man, Det. Jimmy Halleran, also find out jewelry is missing. The dead woman Jean Dexter, a fashion model, leads the police to a Dr. Stoneman, a man that loved her. At the same time, another detective discovers a cigarette case that points to another man, Frank Niles, who also appears to be involved. The drunk in the river was a jewelry thief and he, in turn, points to Harmonica Willie, a tough guy with a criminal record.

Description: When Susan Vance (Katharine Hepburn), a scatterbrained young woman, takes a shine to Dr. David Huxley (Cary Grant), a sober palaeontologist, mayhem ensues. Dr. Huxley, engaged to be married and intensely interested in the arrival of the brontosaurus bone required to complete his project at the museum, is inextricably bound up with Susan's escapades when she finds herself responsible for Baby, a tame leopard shipped to her New York apartment and intended for Susan's aunt in Connecticut. The plot thickens when George the Terrier steals the priceless bone and buries it, Baby escapes, and an untamed leopard escapes from a circus convoy (resulting in a twist on the mistaken identity ploy). Will Susan's love for David be reciprocated? Will David get his bone back? Will Baby be brought up - or brought down?
