Description:Assistant District Attorney Cleve Marshall, depressed about marital troubles, is drowning his sorrows in a bottle of whiskey when the mysterious and alluring Thelma Jordon walks in to report an attempted burglary. The two become romantically involved and not long afterwards there is a burglary and murder at Thelma's aunt's house. Cleve is drawn further and further into defending and covering up for Thelma. Description: New York. When the cop killer Martin Rome arrives in the hospital badly wounded, the lawyer W.A. Description: This dramatization of a factual incident opens in a quiet Connecticut town where much loved local priest, Father Lambert, is shot and killed on the street in broad daylight, the police come under great pressure to find the shooter and bring him to justice. They extradite John Waldren who was arrested in a nearby state and question him unrelentingly until he's completely exhausted and signs a confession. Description: When Det. Lt. Stephenson investigates the murder of a doctor who was found stabbed in his apartment, he learns that he had dinner with a woman named Teresa Collins the evening of his death. Description: After being away for a few years, working class Steve Thompson returns to his hometown of Los Angeles to move back into the family home with his parents and younger brother.
