Oh, I dont know what could be the reason of this... Everything`s all right when watching on my machine, maybe try VLC Player or install K-Lite Mega Codec Pack??

Uh, sorry, my mistake. It's one of the files that i didn't download completely. It works fine now. Have you by any chance Blackmail, The Lady Vanishes, Spellbound or Notorious?

Dear Oldmovies, Sir,

Your initiative is welcome.
Rebecca is, indeed, a masterpiece
of the 7th Art; a "reference" movie.

Unfortunately, I was not able to
watch the entire movie: only the
first file (a "pseudo-.rar" file)
has usable content. The other 7
cannot be watched - even after I
re-named their extension.

By the way: what a ".002" file
ext. means?!

Please, try to remedy the above
signalized anomaly.

I have to say that the audio and
video quality, of the first part
of the movie (the "watchable" one),
is very good!

Extension .001, .002 etc. is made by software called HJ SPlit, that just splits files into parts of given size without aby compression, etc, to join the files into fully watchable movies, you need that program, which is very small nad easy to use...

You can also use Total Commander, just DL all parts to th esame folder, then check file .001 and choose Merge option from program options, when merging is done, just change file extension to .avi

Hello!

I just want to tell you that I
applied your instructions; and
I succeeded to assemble all the
8 parts in which it was splitted;
and, finally, watch the movie.

I thank you very much for your
indications; and for your entire
(uploading) work.

For those who don't have time to
search on the web, I would like
to offer them the required down-
load link for the tiny HJSPLIT
utility (the latest version is
2.3): http://www.freebyte.com.
This little gem of software it
really works. And it leaves no
traces in the Registry (it don't
has an installer)!

Enjoy the movie...

P.S.

We would like to see more movies
with Errol Flynn. For example:

Captain Blood (1935)
The Prince and the Pauper (1937)
The Private Lives of Elizabeth and Essex (1939)
The Sea Hawk (1940)
The Adventures of Don Juan (1948)

The Adventures of Robin Hood has
already been uploaded.

There are also very good (old)
Mexican movies - like Cielito Lindo - 1957...

Absolutely gorgeous quality and sound. The Total Commander worked perfectly.

I have a question:
Would you happen to have or know where I could download these movies please?
Bell, book, and candle
Dragonwyck
Bringing up baby

Thanks again for all of the great movies you have up.

Bringing up baby will be uploaded to site in a couple of days :)

And I will take a look at other requests too :)

I *finally* got around to watching this. A fantastic movie!

A pity that the 1-CD version has rather crappy image quality...

I know the quality is not perfect, I will try to replace this version, with much better one, but dont know when :(
